Description:
With hundreds of different kinds of medications on the
market today there is an incredible challenge for the
health care practitioner to understand the implications of
these medications as they interact with the daily food,
nutrient and herbal products consumed by patients. The
challenges will only intensify as new medications are
introduced daily. This home study product is also a
useful resource manual, designed to assist the
practioner successfully develop a better understanding
of the interaction between many common medications,
herbal products and a patient’s nutritional
requirements.

Faculty Bio: This program is presented by
Jackie Storm PhD, CNS. Jackie has over 30 years of
experience as a nutritionist/health educator, providing
individual counseling and workshops. She is also a national
lecturer, has held adjunct faculty positions at several
colleges, hosted a nutrition based radio program in the New
York City area and contributed to a variety of professional
publications. Despite her full schedule, she continues to be
involved in several national nutrition based organizations.
She applies this full body of education and experience to
her two publications; Laboratory Assessment of Nutritional
Status and Drug/Nutrient Interactions.
