Course Description:
This course is designed to provide participants with knowledge related to practicing pulmonary rehabilitation in 2011 and beyond. The primary focus will be on developing individualized treatment plans for patients with various obstructive and restrictive lung pathologies. Each webinar will describe the rehabilitation processes of assessment, goal setting, intervention, reassessment, discharge, and follow-up utilizing case examples of actual patients with obstructive and restrictive lung diseases. Lung pathologies will be discussed briefly for each case as well as billing considerations. Current reimbursement and practice guidelines will be threaded throughout the series.
