This innovative one-day workshop is a “must attend” event for anyone who works with clients who need to stop yo-yo dieting and achieve permanent success. Research demonstrating the latest in obesity development, the dieting process, metabolic barriers and patient-guided eating and movement prescriptions are highlighted.

WORKSHOP FACULTY…

Spend an empowering day with Lynda Murray, a registered dietitian and coordinator of the “Moving Beyond Diets” program at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington, Iowa. Murray was graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in dietetics and earned her Masters degree from the University of Northern Iowa.

She is an adjunct faculty member at Southeastern Community College and has worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings from businesses to hospitals, nursing homes, colleges, public health and fitness centers. She frequently is a guest lecturer and has contagious energy that won’t quit! Lynda is a Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year award recipient from the American Dietetic Association.
